Michelle joined the Saiki & Associates team in 2022. She has a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. After working as a financial advisor with New York Life and NY Life Securities, Michelle decided to pursue her interest in law by obtaining her paralegal certificate. Her prior experience as a professional advisor has made her an invaluable member of the team.

Aya has been a part of the Saiki & Associates team since late 2022. She has her Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from Columbia University. Aya loves helping clients and their loved ones with their estate planning and business needs. Born and raised in Honolulu, Aya feels so fortunate to be able to help people in her community while being near her own family and loved ones. Her attention to detail is a great asset to the firm. In 2026, Aya started down the path of lawyering as a first-year law student at the University of Hawai’i’s Richardson School of Law. She will continue to work at Saiki & Associates on a part-time basis.
MARISA FUKUNAGA
LEGAL ASSISTANT I
Marisa is the newest addition to Saiki & Associates, joining the team in 2026. She has a Bachelors of Science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. Marisa’s career includes working at Bank of Hawaii, The Forge for Athletes, and Plumbers and Fitters Local 675. She was the owner of a small business, called Manini Moon. In her spare time, Marisa is an avid yoga practitioner and instructor.
